Yelland Road, Fremington

A new sustainable ICF (insulated concrete formwork) dwelling in Fremington, North Devon.  The ICF modern method of construction provided high levels of thermal insulation and air tightness to minimise heat loss and lower energy consumption.  A MVHR (mechanical ventilation and Heat Recovery) system was installed to provide fresh filtered air and retain energy that has already been used in heating the building.  A large balcony overlooking the rear garden gives panoramic views to the river Taw estuary and surrounding countryside.
