WHY USE A REGISTERED ARCHITECT
Undertaking a building project, whatever the scale, can be a daunting experience. By using an RIBA registered Architect you know you are employing someone who has undertaken seven years of training and works to the highest standards in design, construction knowledge, health and safety and quality assurance — no other building professional is trained in design and construction to such a level of expertise.
Architects are regulated by the ARB, Architects Registration Board. The title Architect is a protected title by an act of parliament and only those registered with the ARB are allowed to use it.
Registered Architects are obligated to retain professional indemnity insurance to give you the peace of mind that you would be covered in the unusual event of any problems with their work.
All of the above points are important considerations before you proceed with services for work to your most important asset.
We believe in delivering affordable architectural services. As a start up practice we believe that our fees are some of the most competitive around for the services of an RIBA registered Architect.
Services are tailored to suit the requirements of each individual client and project. We set out our fees clearly in stages using the RIBA plan of work and usually invoice on completion of each stage of work. Larger projects would be invoiced monthly as stages take longer to complete. We like to give an indication of other additional project fees upfront to try and avoid unwanted surprises.
