Reservoir Conversion

The conversion of an existing concrete water storage reservoir in Heanton, North Devon.  The proposals included a cantilevered glazed corner to the structure to maximise natural light and the surrounding coast and estuary views and a green roof to attenuate rain water and provide environmental benefits.  The site was located in a sensitive countryside setting and special attention was paid to site wide ecology and biodiversity gains including new native species hedge and wildflower planting.
